RM100 Sara aid payment available on Sunday
PETALING JAYA:
The government’s RM100 one-off Sara aid will be paid to Malaysians over the age of 18 on Aug 31, and can be used to make purchases at 4,500 shops until Dec 31.
The aid payment will be credited into every eligible citizen’s MyKad, said government spokesman Fahmi Fadzil. All eligible citizens can check the Sara website or the official MyKasih website for details.
The one-off aid contribution was announced by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim last month as an immediate effort to ease the cost of living burden. It will benefit 22 million citizens, through an allocation of RM2 billion.
