Seiko is bringing back one of its boldest creations from the 1970s.

The King Seiko Vanac, known for its vibrant colours and sharp, edgy case designs, is making a comeback in 2025.

It’s more of a rebirth, really. That’s ’cause it’s not just a nostalgic reissue—it’s a modern reinterpretation that keeps the uniquely rebellious spirit of the original alive. But it’s got some modern upgrades for the 21st Century.

A throwback with a modern edge

If you’re not familiar with the original Vanac, here’s a quick refresher: Back in 1972, the King Seiko lineup of watches introduced the Vanac, which featured wild colours, multifaceted cases, and a distinctive flair that set it apart from its more traditional siblings.
