Money talk? Nope!
Selena Gomez said she thinks it’s “distasteful” to talk about money, as she comments about her brand’s success when reacting to her billionaire status during an interview.
The actress, singer, and Rare Beauty mogul, said,
“I’m very grateful,” she said on Monday evening. “I personally think it’s distasteful to talk about money but I really am giving all the credit to the people who buy the products.”
Gomez, 33, launched her cosmetic brand Rare Beauty in 2020, and it has skyrocketed in popularity with influencers as well as Gen-Z. The success of the brand has contributed to a huge bulk of Gomez’s wealth. She is also a Grammy winning artist with a lucrative acting career with roles on Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place and Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building.
