The day all Selenators have been waiting for has finally arrived. Today (4 November 2022), Selena Gomez is releasing her long-awaited documentary called “My Mind and Me”.
Fans got a closer look than ever in Selena Gomez’s new, appropriately titled AppleTV+ documentary on her challenges with mental health, lupus, heartbreak, and the highs and lows of celebrity.
As such, viewers can expect to learn about her critically praised third studio album “Rare” as well as her possible fourth album, and her life-saving kidney transplant in 2017.
Despite all the excitement, Selena has revealed that she almost didn’t release her documentary as she felt like she’s about to sacrifice her life based on the platform that she has right now, and it might be ‘too intense’.
However, according to an interview with Variety, after the screening and how it reached the audience emotionally, she finally decided to give it a go as she sees it as a way of helping others who have the same problem as hers and this documentary might be a path to them getting help and not feeling alone.
As mentioned above, the documentary will be streaming on AppleTV+ and for those who did not subscribe to the platform, afraid not! Selena Gomez is kind enough to give away free two months of the subscription to everyone who wants to watch the documentary!!
