RELEASED back in 2021, Monoloque’s album Lagu Perang (Bunyian Gamelan Melayu Di Abad Ke-21) was a testament to the commitment of the band’s singer-songwriter Loque to evolving the traditional Malay brass orchestra called ‘gamelan’ and to ensure its relevance in contemporary times.
