
Jordan Jude Ellron, the son of former Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) deputy president Ellron Angin, has resigned as the party’s youth chief and Nabawan division chief, citing dissatisfaction with the lack of seats given to him and the party’s youth executive committee to contest in the Nov 29 Sabah polls.
In a Facebook post, he said he had resigned as youth chief as he did not feel the position had any purpose. However, he did not say if he had also resigned as a STAR member.
STAR will contest 40 seats in the state election.
“Not a single seat was given to members of STAR Youth’s executive committee,” said Jude.
