
Suria KLCC has defended its security team after a viral video showed a scuffle with a “visitor” carrying a flag pole into the mall.
In a statement today, the management said the “visitor’ was asked not to bring a “long wooden stick” into the premises, in line with longstanding safety procedures.
“We would like to clarify that this is a standard security measure that applies to all visitors, and we wish to reassure the public that our actions were not based on any political stance,” it said.
“The safety and security of our community remain our highest priority. We appreciate the public understanding as we work to maintain a secure and orderly environment for all.”
