Former Lord President Tun Salleh Abas Dies After Testing Positive For COVID-19
The news of his death was announced by his children earlier today, 16 January.The 91-year-old, who had tested positive for COVID-19 on 14 January, died at 3.20am Saturday.At the time of testing positive for the coronavirus, Tun Salleh was reported to be stable and receiving treatment at the intensive care unit of Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ) in Kuala Terengganu.
