After 7 months of being accused of making rape jokes in school during physical education class, a secondary school teacher in Puncak Alam has filed a lawsuit against 17-year-old, Ain Husniza Saiful Nizam who is behind the #MakeSchoolASaferPlace movement, and her father.
According to Malay Mail, the teacher who has been named publicly for the first time, Khairul Nizam Sanuddin filed the suit in the Shah Alam sessions court on 26 Nov.
He claimed that Ain made defamatory statements against him between 23 and 24 April on her social media accounts, as well as in media interviews from 26 April to 26 June.
“Her impugned statements were shared by netizens without my explanation on what really happened during the class. Her statements implied that I was a teacher who was obscene and purportedly harassed students,” Khairul said.
