The Oscars will move from their long-established venue in the heart of Hollywood to a more centrally located site in Los Angeles starting in 2029—the same year the ceremony is scheduled to begin streaming on YouTube.
The internationally renowned Academy Awards will take place at the Peacock Theater, which offers a larger seating capacity compared to their current location, the Dolby Theatre.
You can soon watch your favourite actors and actresses receive their awards comfortably on your own YouTube screens!
