Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail could be the nation’s first woman prime minister following the resignation of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad
According to anonymous sources quoted by Malay Mail, Dr Wan Azizah has been assigned as an interim prime minister after Tun Dr Mahathir’s PPBM party opted to leave the ruling Pakatan Harapan administration.
However, no official announcement has been made about the position.
