Wicked: For Good soared to $150 million in its opening weekend across the U.S. and Canada, shattering the record for a Broadway musical adaptation and cementing its place among the highest-grossing movie musicals of all time, the studio announced.

The film picks up where last year’s Wicked left off, which dazzled audiences with a $114 million domestic debut during the pre-Thanksgiving weekend.
