Get this: Approximately 1.35 million people die from road traffic accidents annually, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Because of this, road traffic crashes alone cost the majority of nations some 3 percent of their gross domestic product (GDP). That’s right, the more crashes happen, countries lose more money.
