The series is a hilarious love story of an uptight city scholar and “Joseon’s national treasure”, Gyun Woo, who meets sassy princess Hye Myung.

The Tale of Nokdu is about a man (Jang Dong Yoon) who lives on an island with his father and older brother. After his father and older brother are attacked by a group of female assassins. In order to infiltrate their village, he must dress in disguise… as a woman.

3. The Crowned Clown
This is a highly recommended show! In order to avoid assassination from the enemy, the king puts a clown who looks almost exactly like him, on the throne.
