Obviously it took approximately two seconds for everyone to notice John’s thirst, and comments on the post include “not john mayer liking? ” and “WHY DID @johnmayer LIKE THIS?” To answer that last question, who knows—but one can only assume he was out here looking at his ex’s tagged pics, which, relatable.

Okay, but to be fair, after did some digging—Jen was the first to lurked on his Instagram Live back in April, and even commented a bunch of laugh cry emojis:

Just a reminder, these two dated between 2008 to 2009, and in 2010 John told Rolling Stone, “I’ve never really gotten over it […] it was one of the worst times of my life.” These days, the exes clearly seem to be on great, mutually lurk-y, terms—and John was even in attendance at Jen’s 50th birthday party!
