As much as we love our artists and have their faces plastered all over our walls (no? just me? mkay..), having them tattooed on our bodies – like this one fan who holds the world record for the most number of tattoos of the same musician – is a whole other level of stanning. Not that we’d judge if you did. But for those of us who are hesitant to get their faces inked onto our bodies, what are the alternatives? After all, tattoos are permanent while our love for these artists may fade as we grow older. Song lyrics? Well, they too may not resonate after a while. But what if you could have a minimalist design of your favourite song etched instead? Illustrator Anabel Johnson may have the answer. She’s recently gained fame for her series of minimalist tattoos all inspired by the songs on Harry Styles’s most recent album, “Fine Line”.

Taking to TikTok, she showed off the 12 designs (for the 12 songs on the album). The video now has over 3 million views, with the cute designs for “Golden”, “Lights Up”, “Cherry” and more being altogether tasteful, artsy and downright cool.

Johnson has also created designs for other popular albums, like…
Ariana Grande’s “Positions”:

Taylor Swift’s “Evermore”…

And Miley Cyrus’ “Plastic Hearts”:

There are so many amazing designs! And if none of these albums is your favourite, here’s to hoping Johnson does yours next!
