Turns out that hiding behind the face of a gorgeous woman named Soya No Sohi, who has tens of thousands of followers on Twitter as a young motorcycle enthusiast who documents her journeys across mountains and beaches on her Yamaha sport bikes, is a 50-year-old man named Yasuo Nakajima.
In March, the divorced father of three decided to come clean and revealed that he used an application to transform his face in every shot. And get this: upon exposing himself, his follower count spiked even higher!

Nakajima told a variety show that he only adopted a fake online identity because no one would be interested in a normal, middle-aged man’s posts otherwise. But his worries prove to be irrelevant as his fans have come to adore him even more now!

A Twitter user replied to him, saying,
“I knew it, and I like you even better now.”
Despite having revealed himself, the single father continues to post as Soya more than ever, maintaining the fantasy. This proves more than ever that social media is all about aesthetics, charades and showing people what they want to see.
In a video call with The Washington Post, Nakajima said that the persona had helped him overcome his fear of expressing the other side of his personality.
He said,
“The only thing I’m creating is, basically, my appearance. Everything else is me.”
He added that,
“When you’re young, you tend to be scolded or criticized by older people who say you should do this or you should do that. But at this age, there’s no one around to really scold me.”
His voice gave in to a slight laugh, before stating that,
“I’m having the best time of my life.”
And if he’s happy, we’re happy!
