BTS ‘Dynamite’ Breaks BLACKPINK’s YouTube Record In 24 Hours

BTS has outdone themselves once again!

The popular K-pop group has once again broken the record for most-viewed 24 hour debut on YouTube for their latest music video “Dynamite.”

Previously, reports showed the video had accumulated 98.3 million views in the first 24 hours following its release on Friday (August 21). However, multiple outlets later confirmed that the track had in fact garnered a smashing record of 101.1 million views- all thanks to devoted BTS Army!

The new record surpasses fellow K-pop group BLACKPINK with the MV for “How You Like That,” which gained 86.3 million views in 24 hours following the release on June 26, 2020.

“Dynamite” marks BTS’s first ever single fully recorded in English. The septet currently holds four other spots on YouTube’s top ten 24-hour debuts of all-time list which includes “Boy With Luv,” “On,” “On (Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima)” and “Idol.”
