The movement control order (MCO) is still implemented and many have been worried about how our lives would have to change when the MCO is lifted. What will be our new normal after MCO is over?

Nandini and Fly’s AM Mayhem have come to the consensus that it will be a trying time hen the MCO is lifted as we still have to practice social distancing because the fight against COVID-19 has impacted all aspects of lives!
“What’s worrying me is that, a lot of people think that once MCO is lifted we can go back to life as we know it or knew it. People also don’t seem understand that there are bigger things than Raya right now, I mean you could die.
I feel like there’s a bit of lie glorification with the whole new normal situation, to me it sounds very bleak, you cant do any of the things that humans like doing. I think social distancing is the most difficult aspect of it for so many people cause its human nature. But what concerns me is is also kids living in rural communities have no access to education programs and stuff cause they an go to schools anymore. I’m not feeling too good about this new normal!” – Nandini
It’s apparent to us all that the COVID-19 pandemic has taen over the world and has left many of us struggling to get by the days. Something just has to be done!
” When we meet people, we shake hands or we hug each other now with this new normal nothing like that can happen and as you said the students who don’t have the access to education like they don’t have internet or mobile devices have to continue class from home, its going to be tough. And someone must figure something out to help those kids especially.” – Hafiz
Things have to change to accommodate to the “new normal” because the pandemic has impacted everything from the economy, education, deaths and many more.
“I’ve been reading up on Harvard business review magazines, they’re really interesting because what they do is they kind of predict whats going to be happening. They have a special segment and program just about COVID-19 and how its impacting everything right. They’re saying that now people will have to look for online classes, they would have to create rooms now for your kids to turn it into classrooms because COVID-19 will be here for awhile.
People are saying that salaries are now going to be deposited as credits around the world. Governments are thinking about doing stuff like this because they know that, they’ve already seen what one pandemic can do to the world, they’re afraid of hat could happen next. But on a less serious note i think were gonna loose a lot of friends lah.” RD
