After getting all the spotlight for her first historical solo female artist to win best rap album, Cardi B has gone Instagram MIA.

This year’s Grammy’s BIG FOUR categories — Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best New Artist — has been a sweep of pop, rock, R&B and hip-hop artists. Kudos to The Recording Academy for increasing to eight nominees to accommodate more diversity.

On Feb. 10, the 61st Grammy Awards will honor some of the music industry’s most talented artists and many others. This year, the Grammys have expanded their Big Four (Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year & Best New Artist) categories to eight nominees in the hopes of a more diverse field that better reflects what people are actually listening to.

This year’s 61st Annual Grammy Awards might be all about girl power, but one particular woman that stands out is no other than Cardi B.

The 7 Rings singer has called off her performance at this year’s Grammy Awards show, which is set to take place this weekend.

We always await for that one category to be announced, its none other than Best New Artist, it’s unique compared among the dozens of Grammys handed out every year, as it is the only prize that an artist or group can be nominated for once.
