A military officer, allegedly driving against the flow of traffic, has killed a 22-year-old Bangladeshi tourist and injured his wife not long after they left KLIA in an e-hailing vehicle.
The soldier had reportedly been driving under the influence of alcohol when he entered the opposite lane on Maju Expressway (MEX) and caused the fatal head-on collision.

The deceased was sat in the middle row of the MPV the couple were travelling in when the tragic crash occurred. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His wife survived the crash and is receiving treatment at Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL), with the 41-year-old driver of the e-hailing vehicle also sustaining head injuries.
