While most of the world is trying to curb the COVID-19 pandemic, the Philippines has to juggle between handling the virus outbreak and an “epidemic” of unplanned pregnancies.
According to The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the rate of pregnancies in the Philippines could increase by 751,000 (42 percent) to reach a total of 2.6 million.
