Ever since the success of ‘WAP’, Cardi B has been constantly bombarded with questions of when her next album, the follow up to her debut ‘Invasion of Privacy’ would drop. After all, the reason for why ‘WAP’ hadn’t been nominated for a Grammy award is because she was waiting to put her whole album out first. So when the Bronx rapper tweeted:
Got a surprise coming 😊😊

Many were hoping for a new album, video or SOMETHING music related. What did they get instead?
Psychic Cardi: the Truth Teller.
Yeap, no joke. In a partnership with Instagram, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar is set to read fans’ fortunes from December 26 up until New Year’s Eve. Using a new (already verified) account under the handle @cardibtruthteller, fans can DM the account to receive guidance for 2021, which is then shareable on Instagram itself and on Facebook via it’s newly integrated Messenger. As for why she would do this, her simple explanation:
“2020 has been rough baby. Let’s get that astral plane looking tight.“

Bardi Gang is definitely in for a treat; Knowing how direct, unpredictable and entertaining Cardi B can be, you can bet that the “advice” and clairvoyant help she’s about to dish out will be meme-worthy. And she’s already (hilariously) made her first prediction! Replying to a Twitter user who asked when they’d meet a new person, she responded:
Okuurrrr.
This comes hot on the heels of the news that the 28-year-old ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper is set to premiere her new reality show titled “Cardi Tries_____”. True to its name, Kulture’s momma is set to make weekly attempts at new activities – you know, because she doesn’t already have titles like “one of the most influential female rappers of all time (Forbes)”, “highest-certified female rapper of all time on the RIAA’s Top Artists (Digital Singles) ranking” and “the only female rapper with multiple billion-streamers on Spotify”. Nah-uh, she’s ‘about to add “ballet”, “worked on a ranch”, “drove a stunt car” and more to her repertoire.

So while there is yet to be a date for the new album, she’s got quite a bit up her sleeve to placate fans in the meantime. And for those wondering if she’s even really working on an album? Cardi B has teased an idea ahead of the release of her album – thus solidifying its existence – by tweeting:
I’m workin on it …I promise I won’t hold ya up for long.Maynr I’m February imma fly ten fans to hear it ….If Covid still ain’t hating https://t.co/TxQeqLEs8v
