And the awards continue to be dished out!
The 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards, live from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, enters its eight year with Usher as its host! Since the Awards’ inception in 2013, the star-studded event has celebrated the most played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations. The event has always featured live performances (except for last year, where the broadcast was cancelled due to the pandemic) from the biggest artists in music, as well as surprise duets and collaborations, and award presentations in multiple categories.
Before we go into the list of “who-won-what”, we have to highlight The Weeknd’s debut of the remix of his megahit ‘Save Your Tears’. Not only does The Weeknd look so at ease sans his red jacket, his proud smile as newly wedded Pop Queen Ariana Grande belts out some crazy runs is peak friendship goals and I… couldn’t save my tears because ngl, it made me cry.
