To top it off the Billboard has just announced that the singer’s track On The Ground scored the No. 70 spot on the Hot 100 chart for the week ending March 27! No other Korean female artist has been able to achieve such recognition except in 2016, CL became the first Korean female soloist to chart on the Hot 100 when her single Lifted took the No. 94 spot, and she was the only female Korean soloist to rank on the list until today, with theRosé breaking her record.

For those who are unaware of how competitive the charts can be, the Hot 100 ranks the most popular songs in the United States across all genres based on streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay, and sales data.
