Malaysia’s number one pop queen Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza has safely given birth to her second child at a medical centre in Selangor, and we couldn’t be more overjoyed! While no name has been announced just yet, Siti Nurhaliza Productions Sdn Bhd has reported that both mother and son are doing just fine.

In their post, they shared:
“Alhamdulillah, on Monday the 7th of Ramadhan, Siti has safely given birth to a baby boy weighing 3.84 kilogrammes. Both mother and child are healthy.”
They also added:
“Siti’s husband, Datuk Seri Khalid Mohamad Jiwa, expresses his gratitude for the safe delivery of their second child. What matters to Khalid is that both mother and child are in a healthy and stable condition. Both of them are immensely grateful and wishes to thank everyone for your prayers, including family, relatives, close friends, fans, the media and the public.”
The happy couple, who tied the knot back in August 2006, also has a three-year-old daughter, Siti Aafiyah. After an 11-year wait, Siti finally gave birth to her first child through an in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) procedure. Her second child is also conceived through IVF procedures. The ‘Purnama Merindu’ hit-maker has been very open regarding her struggles with infertility in the past.
On her second pregnancy, the 42-year-old songstress said:
“It’s basically the same process I went through with Aafiyah. But with her, I didn’t feel like crying so much. I’ve been crying more this time,”
We would like to give a congratulatory shout out to the happy couple! May they be showered with plenty of abundance during this holy month of Ramadhan!
