Scooter Braun Reveals What Demi Lovato Is Up To & It Looks Like…

today7 January 2021

New year, new Demi Lovato!

The 28-year-old Skyscraper singer has had quite the year in 2020. Following a serious overdose and rehab stint in 2018, Lovato took some time out of the spotlight before making a comeback at the  62nd Annual Grammy Awards with a heart-aching performance of the single ‘Anyone’. She also got engaged only to end it not long after. But the one constant that the Disney alum never failed to do was to be an advocate for mental health. On the music front, she released singles and collaborations – “OK Not to Be OK” with Marshmallow, “I’m Ready” with Sam Smith, “Monsters” with All Time Low.

Now, her manager – Scooter Braun (who also happens to be Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande’s manager) – has leaked the fact that she’s busy at work. Taking to Twitter, he announced…

Not long after, Lovato took to her own social media and posted his tweet on her Instagram story alongside the caption:

“*Phone rings – Scooter’s calling* Me: Hey can’t talk in the booth. @Scooterbraun:”

Assuming that she’s currently working on her full-length album, this will be her first since ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ from way back in 2017.

After all, way back in March 2020, Lovato told Apple Music’s New Music Daily that her album had had to be delayed.

“I’m actually [still] finishing up some of the album. It was gonna be done a lot earlier… and then, um, after my performances, we kinda went back to the drawing board. I thought, ‘What is this album missing? Am I really putting out the best work that I possibly can?’ So I’m just taking a little bit more time with it.”

Could we finally be getting her full-length album this year? Fingers crossed!
