At a time where streaming sites and TV shows took up most of our year – if only because the pandemic left little option – it would be no easy feat to crown The Best of The Best. But that’s exactly what we’re going to get from the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards live at the Palladium in Los Angeles. The event, hosted by the iconic comedian and actress Leslie Jones (‘Coming 2 America’, ‘Ghostbusters’, ‘Time Machine’) and DJ-ed by DJ Snoopadelic (Guess who? Snoop Dogg, duh!), features gender-neutral categories, with winners chosen through fan votes. Winners will be announced across two different nights – the 16th & 17th of May (i.e. two days, the 17th & 18th of May in Malaysia) – and will honour both scripted and unscripted shows.
One of the best parts of the nights: new and exclusive sneak peeks at “Black Widow”, “G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes”, “In The Heights“, and “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It“.
