Drake’s son Adonis turns three!
In an Instagram post, the 33-year-old rapper shared a peek into the celebrations. In an image he captioned, “Young Stunna.”, Drake is seen with a huge smile on his face as Adonis sits on the floor while surrounded by silver, black and white balloons.

Adonis’ mom, artist Sophie Brussaux, also uploaded photos of both herself and Adonis to mark the special occasion. She captioned her sweet post,
“Happy birthday my sweetheart! 3 years ago, I was finally meeting you for the first time, after a long 24-hr labour. I’m so proud of the little man you’re becoming, I love you more than life. The world is YOURS! We did that @champagnepapi ?”

Back in March, Drake shared the first pictures of him and his adorable son, aptly named Adonis and Adonis’ mama Sophie Brussaux, to remind people that you need to take care of yourself to take care of your loved ones.

Sophie Brussaux also took to her Instagram account, sharing a few different, equally as adorable images of, now 2 years old, Adonis’ bright personality. The glowing mama throws in a little surprise photo to make light of the questions surrounding Adonis’ hair colour.

Her caption, written in French, also asks that people keep their loved ones in their hearts in this difficult time. She adds that this will eventually come to an end, and when it does, we will all come out stronger. She ends her post by alluding to the comments on Adonis’ hair. Sophie Brussaux doctored the photo of herself and Drake with Adonis so that both parents had blond hair. In the caption, she jokes,
“P.S. All this time you thought @champagnepapi was dark-haired…but Adonis’s parents are really blonde.”
Drake and Sophie Brussaux are said to have met in Amsterdam back in 2017. Sophie is a celebrated artist, activist and the founder and artistic director of Arts Help, a nonprofit that offers free masterclasses, partners with large institutions to develop pieces for social change, and publishes content from artists of all disciplines on all platforms. Her paintings have been featured in major exhibitions with her work blending surrealism, symbolism and pop art to capture popular figures such as Frida Kahlo, Amy Winehouse and the Pope.
When news first broke out in 2017 that Drake had a child, he kept mum. And when the diss track titled “The Story of Adidon” by Pusha-T aimed at Drake was released, the rumours came back in 2018. Despite having never officially addressed the news, he hinted at the fact in his song, “Scorpion”, with the strong lyrics,
“I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid.”
