Kylie Jenner has just added a hand sanitiser to her skincare line, which launches on kylieskin.com. However, unlike many of her other products, the hand sanitiser – which contains 80% alcohol and promises to prevent dryness – is yet to sell out within hours of its launch.

Many have taken to social media to accuse the 23-year-old beauty mogul of ‘’profiting and capitalising from the pandemic’’, asking why her hand sanitiser costs $7 while many other alternatives are considerably cheaper.

For all the negativity however, there were hundreds more comments praising the launch, with many describing it as ‘amazing’, ‘the prettiest hand sanitiser ever’ and saying they ‘can’t wait to buy it’.
But Kylie was also recently criticised for being ‘tone deaf’ and ‘boasting’ her wealth during the pandemic, as she posted photos of an extravagant Aspen holiday with her family, with one user writing: “Must be nice to flaunt your money in the middle of a global pandemic when most people haven’t worked in months”

Kylie launched Kylie Cosmetics in 2015 before expanding her beauty empire with the launch of Kylie Skin in May 2019. When the skincare range debuted online, the entire line sold out within five minutes.
