Dakota Johnson may have just dropped a not-so-subtle hint that she and longtime partner—Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin are engaged after being spotted donning a massive sparkler on her left ring finger.
The emerald knuckle-duster could be spotted from a mile away as the 31-year-old picked up coffee in Los Angeles, particularly in contrast with her oversized black coat, face mask and burgundy nails.

The Fifty Shades actress and the43-years-old singer have been dating for approximately three years, with Us Weekly first spotting the pair on a trip together to Israel back in December, 2017.
The pair seemed to briefly spend some months apart in June of 2019, but were spotted reconciling by August of that same year. They’ve been notoriously private about their relationship since the beginning, with Dakota only ever confirming that she was “very happy” with Chris in an interview with Tatler in September, 2018.

Chris, who was previously married to Gwyneth Paltrow from 2003 until 2014, has two children, Apple, 16, and Moses, 14—both of whom Johnson has been spotted looking close to. Both beauties also appear to be quite friendly together, with the Marvel’s first lady even posting a sweet birthday tribute to Dakota on her Instagram, calling her an “absolute gem”.
The couple who have matching infinity symbol tattoos, even have Dakota’s mother Melanie Griffith’s approval, with the actress telling People, “I adore him!” Cuuuuuuute. If he got your mother’s approval, you know he’s the one! *wink*
