Acting is no easy job. Many may believe that it’s easy to be on screen, but we’re sure opinions will change once you’ve got a camera pointed at you and the director says, “Action!”
Known for his excellent performance in the drama Projek: Anchor SPM, local actor Nadhir Nasar admitted that he took a while to successfully feel his character to attract the watching audience.

Recently, Nadhir, or his full name Ahmad Nadhir Ahmad Nasar criticized the actions of certain actors that occasionally accept two or three acting jobs at a time, impacting their quality of work to the point that they did not ‘feel’ their characters.

“I’m not a fan when some new actors aren’t taking their roles seriously in acting and don’t go all out when working. Even more so, there are some (actors) who take two or three jobs at once. If you feel like you cannot handle it, focus on one job first to ensure that you feel the character and your energy can be felt by the audience.”
The actor who is 25 years old also added that the acting classes held by the prominent local actress Nabila Huda was a great initiative to spread awareness to newcomers to ensure they understand the real meaning of acting in the industry.

Nadhir is a graduate in Communication and Media Studies (Broadcasting) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam. He began his acting journey in the industry after emerging as champion in the Hero Remaja 2020 competition.

Hero Remaja is an annual contest that showcases a group of iconic local youngsters who are judged based on looks as well as individual intelligence from various aspects.
Aside from Projek: Anchor SPM, Nadhir also acted in a TV series called Tercipta Satu Ikatan.
