Yes, you’ve read that right – leave it Cardi B to hash out beef with Peppa Pig.

For the uninitiated, Peppa Pig is a popular British animated television series. Each episode is roughly 5 minutes long and follows the Peppa and her family as they navigate their lives through very relatable scenarios that are meant to teach kids something new with every story. Introduced in 2004, the show has become a big part of education for preschoolers – with some parents sharing that their kids now talk with British accents (despite not being British or growing up in England) as a result of binging the show. And if you’re curious as to what Peppa Pig sounds like – the actress Amelie Bea Smith from ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’ voices the pink animated character.

Cute right? Unfortunately, Cardi B isn’t so happy with this one habit that her 2-year-old daughter Kulture has picked up because of the show.

In a furious tweet, the ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker called out Peppa Pig for being the reason that Kulture seems to be ruining all her Uggs.

Err… well… Cardi’s response may be a liiiiitle extreme. After all, Peppa is a pig and pigs love muddy puddles. The series takes this fact very seriously. The first-ever episode of ‘Peppa the Pig’ was titled ‘Muddy Puddles’ and she’s even got a song on her album (yes, ALBUM) about how much she loves dancing, jumping and splashing in muddy puddles. On Peppa’s YouTube channel, she even has a two-hour long compilation of all her “best muddy puddle moments”.

How Cardi B manages to start beef with Peppa Pig amidst all her many projects is beyond us. The 28-year-old multifaceted talent has only just launched her very own show, ‘Cardi Tries’ where she attempts to practice ballet, learns how to make sushi to serve at a restaurant, goes behind the scenes at a wig-making factory, and plays basketball. On top of that, she’s also busy predicting peoples fortunes on Instagram! No, we’re not joking. According to her:
“2020 has been rough baby. Let’s get that astral plane looking tight.”
