Welcome iCarly nation… to the future!
After an almost 10-year hiatus, iCarly is signing back on. Paramount+ has unveiled the official trailer for the revival series, which finds the young gang all grown up. In the sneak peek at the upcoming series, slated to be released in June, Miranda Cosgrove’s Carly restarts her wildly popular web series with help from her wacky older brother Spencer and best friend Freddie. Things however have gotten a lot more complicated this time around, now that Carly is older, successful, and dating.

Picking up 10 years after the classic Nickelodeon show ended in 2012, the revival follows original influencer Carly Shay and her friends navigating adulting, work, love, and family. In the trailer, the characters go on dates, joke around in the revamped loft and restart their popular web series, this time shot on a literal PearPhone!
I know, we cried a little too watching baby Carly and Freddie!
As fans would know, one-third of the original iCarly star Jennette McCurdy, who back in the early ’00s played Carly’s rambunctious best friend Sam Puckett, will not return for the revival series after recently announcing she had quit acting altogether. And based on his absence in the trailer, it is also unlikely that Noah Munck, who played the eccentric Gibby Gibson, will appear in the new show as well.
