EXO is back! This June the K-Pop boy band will be making a huge return with a new album.

More than a month since dropping a teaser video that sparked joy among fans, Korean boy group EXO said on 11 May 2021 that they would be releasing a special album on June 7. On their official social media page, the group also announced that pre-orders for the album, titled Don’t Fight the Feeling, are now open. Check the post down below:

Don’t Fight the Feeling will be EXO’s first release since the group’s 2019 Obsession. The announcement of the title and release date comes more than a month since EXO posted a teaser video, showing members Xiumin, D.O., Baekhyun, Kai, Chanyeol, and Sehun at the set of their upcoming music video.

The storyline the band is incorporating into the release of their highly anticipated upcoming album is said to have a connection to their 2017 single Power, which they performed at the closing ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The boys will be upkeeping the ongoing sci-fi storyline and integrating it into the release, which they teased in a special behind-the-scenes look they shared on their anniversary in April.

As of now, fans are left in the dark as to how many members will feature on the album, though members D.O., Xiumin, Sehun, and Kai are currently all active in the K-pop scene. However, four members are currently serving their mandatory military service in South Korea, including Baekhyun, who enlisted on May 6.
