The outlet claimed multiple sources told them that a divorce filing “is imminent.” “They are keeping it low-key but they are done,” one source said. “Kim has hired [top celebrity divorce attorney] Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.”
The pair have been living “separate lives” for some time, with the rapper living primarily in Wyoming. “Kanye is taking time and space to work on himself and is spending a lot of his time in Wyoming,” a source close to the family shared with TMZ.

The source added that Kanye’s political ambitions were part of what drove Kim to end their marriage. “She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign,” the source said. “Meanwhile Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy sh*t, and she’s just had enough of it.”
A separate source told the outlet that the rapper had become uncomfortable with the Kardashian family and their reality show lives. The 43 years old “is completely over the entire family…He wants nothing to do with them,” that source said. The source added that Kanye now finds their reality show “unbearable.”
“It sounds like he has no plans to return to LA anytime soon, at least not full-time, but Kim is OK with that. He has an amazing support system around him which does help put Kim at ease.” The insider explained that Kanye is “happiest” in Wyoming. “[He’s] in a better place when he’s there and Kim needs to be in LA and wants the kids with her. She does her best to keep their lives normal.

It comes less than one month after TMZ reported the couple were “struggling” in their marriage. “Kim and Kanye are struggling to stay together as a couple and have for quite some time now,” one source explained. “They really are living separate lives right now and have for a while… This really has been going on for months upon months now. They still talk constantly and they both just seem content for now with the way things are.”
