Peaky Blinders fans are beyond ecstatic as they suspect Mr. Bean actor Rowan Atkinson will be entering the world of Tommy Shelby, played by Cillian Murphy and 1930s Birmingham. And to top it off the comedic actor is rumoured to be playing Adolf Hitler in Peaky Blinders’ upcoming season.
Various reports are floating on the internet suggesting that it is indeed true that we will be seeing the actor portray the infamous initiator of World War II in Europe, Adolf Hitler, in Peaky Blinders season 6.
If found true, it’s going to be the best thing to happen to the show since Tom Hardy who played the character of Alfie Solomons, a mob boss for a predominantly Jewish gang. We’re keeping or fingers crossed for the rumours to be facts, this will truly shine a different perspective to Atkinson, who is known for his comedic character as Mr. Bean, in the British sitcom.
Season 6 of the show is being built around Oswald Mosely’s revenge and Tommy digging what failed his plans.
The popular drama’s has faced significant delays in their upcoming season due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic after its Season 5 aired last year. The new season is expected to air sometime in 2021 or 2022.
