Ah yes, again.
Popular celebrity Neelofa has once again sparked controversy when she allegedly breached MCO SOPs for Hari Raya by celebrating the occasion with more than 10 of her family members in a residence in Ampang on the 13th of May. The controversy sparked when Neelofa’s sister, Noor Nabila posted a video on Instagram, which was then shared on Twitter by user @TheZollonist.
The 27-second clip captioned, “1 Syawal yang penuh mulia” (A glorious 1st Syawal) it could be seen that her family got together during that morning and were greeting each other through handshakes.

Prior to this, the Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob released a statement saying that visitation during Hari Raya would not be allowed for as long as the MCO is implemented. This decision also resulted in the wife of a police officer – on duty at a roadblock in Putrajaya – being fined RM2,000 because she was sending food to him in the same area.

Nothing less from this user who said: “I’m exhausted seeing the same thing from the same family. Is their family just problematic?”
