FINALLY – we get to watch the long-awaited music video for the new James Bond movie, “No Time To Die”! The song, produced and composed by Billie Eilish, Finneas and accompanied by orchestral arrangements by the legendary Hans Zimmer, was initially released in February with the video recorded back then too. However, we are only now getting to watch the visuals that accompany the song that marks Eilish as the youngest artist in history to both write and record a James Bond theme song.

As such, Eilish had this to say about the song:
“It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor.”
Meanwhile, her equally multi-faceted brother FINNEAS added,
“Writing the theme song for a Bond film is something we’ve been dreaming about doing our entire lives. There is no more iconic pairing of music and cinema than the likes of Goldfinger and Live and Let Die. We feel so so lucky to play a small role in such a legendary franchise, long live 007.”

The noir-like video sees black and white clips of the ‘Ocean Eyes’ singer melded in with scenes from the highly anticipated twenty-fifth instalment of the James Bond film series. With Daniel Craig in his last stint as the world-famous super spy, the latest Bond movie is said to focus on “relationships and family” while following Bond five years after the capture of his archenemy Ernst Stavro Blofeld. While enjoying his time in Jamaica, Bond is approached by an old friend who asks him for help locating a missing scientist. From there, Bond soon finds himself confronting a villain whose plans may lead to the death of millions of innocent people.

The movie was initially slated for release back in April, but as with most productions, was postponed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, its release date has been pushed back multiple times but is now set to premiere in the UK on the 12th of November while it will land in global cinemas on the 20th of November.
Until we get to see Agent 007 in all his action-packed glory, immerse yourself in the gorgeous video and Eilish’s haunting vocals here:
