From Grammy winner to children’s book author, is there no end to Lil Nas X’s amazing repertoire of accomplishments?
The 21-year-old (born Montero Lamar Hill) has just released ‘C For Country’, an adorable picture book illustrated by Theodore Taylor III. The book is meant to teach children between the ages of 3 to 7 how to read and apply their ABCs. The illustrations and story follow Lil Nas X in cartoon form (dressed in the iconic pink suit, cowboy hat and boots look from the 2020 Grammys) alongside his trusty steed, Panini the Pony.

A mere hours after its release, the book has already placed within the top 10 rankings of children’s books around the world. No surprise, really, as the book follows Lil Nas X’s signature style and unique personality. This is evident in the way that the book correlates each letter of the alphabet with word that reflects Lil Nas X’s personal style and a love for all things country (“F” for “fringe,” “feathers,” and “fake fur,” while “S” is for “swag”). Dang, are we too old to grab a copy for ourselves cause it’s just too cute!
