O.G. K-Pop “Beastly” Idols 2PM Announce Comeback; Everything You “MUST” Know

today8 June 2021

Background

Give me strength because I never thought this day would come. The one, the only “beastly” idols 2PM are set to return with their 7th album, “Must”!

2PM is ready to set the South Korean music industry on fire. With all six members of the group together again (following the completion of the members’ mandatory military service), we’re going to live through what is bound to be another iconic era for the 2nd gen K-pop idols. Along with the announcement, the group – consisting of members Jun.K (formerly known as Jun Su), Thai member Nichkhun, Taec Yeon (who you may have most recently seen playing the psychopathic villain in “Vincenzo”), Woo Young, Jun Ho and Chan Sung (you may have seen him in “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?”) – has dropped a dark, dramatic teaser titled, The Hottest Origin.

Since their debut in 2008, 2PM has been a pillar of K-Pop. The group is known for their impressive vocals, jaw-dropping athletic abilities and incredibly witty humour. Their masculine images were highlighted by complex, rigorous choreography (often juxtaposed against fellow labelmates, 2AM – a ballad group).

Hits like “10점 만점에 10점 (10 Out of 10)”, “Heartbeat”,  “Again & Again” and “Hands Up” cemented the groups status as one of the hottest groups of all time.

MUST will drop on the 28th of June at 6 PM (5 PM here in Malaysia), with pre-orders for the album already available.

(Now I’m just waiting for 2AM to make a comeback too, please please please!)
