Demi Lovato and her former fiancé Max Ehrich shocked fans when they called off their engagement in late September. “It was a tough decision, but Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers,” a source told PEOPLE magazine. “They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together,” the insider also said.

Kelly Clarkson shocked fans when she and husband of seven years Brandon Blackstock called it quits on their seven year marriage, which produced two children—six-year-old daughter River and four-year-old son Remington Alexander. Another long marriage came to an end when actors Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green split up in May 2020, one month shy of their 10 year wedding anniversary. A month later the 34-year-old actress was actively dating her Midnight in the Switchgrass co-star Machine Gun Kelly. She’s since gone on to call the rapper/actor her “twin flame,” which is a level above a soul mate.

Scott Disick & Sofia Richie
The COVID-19 quarantine proved to be tough on Scott Disick and Sofia Richie‘s relationship. The couple of nearly three years spent plenty of time together locked down in Malibu, but in late April the Talentless founder checked into rehab to deal with some past emotional trauma. He left the facility in Colorado on May 4 after his privacy was blown, and it was reported that Scott and Sofia broke up a few weeks later. He was vacationing with ex Kourtney Kardashian and their three kids in Utah by Memorial Day weekend.
Armie Hammer & Elizabeth Chambers
After 10 years of marriage, Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers announced they are splitting up. In joint Instagram posts on July 10, the couple—who have two children together—wrote, “Thirteen years as best friends, soulmates, partners and then parents. It has been an incredible journey, but together, we’ve decided to turn the page and move on from our marriage. As we enter into this next chapter, our children and relationship as co-parents and dear friends will remain our priority.”

Multiple sources have confirmed to People that actor Ashley Benson and model-actor Cara Delevingne have split after almost two years of dating. “Cara and Ashley always had their ups and down before, but it’s over now,” one source said. “Their relationship just ran its course.” A source also told the publication that the split happened in April and Cara is quarantining with friends, including Kaia Gerber and Margaret Qualley.
Timothee Chalamet & Lily-Rose Depp
On April 25, Us Weekly reported that Timothée Chalamet and Lily-Rose Depp—who costarred in the Netflix movie The King—have broken up after over one year of dating. According to the publication, Timothee was referred to as “single” in the latest issue of British Vogue.

Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler have reportedly broken up after almost nine years together. A source confirmed the news to Us Weekly in mid January, explaining that Hudgens only recently started sharing the breakup with people close to her. “Vanessa and Austin are officially broken up, and Vanessa has been telling those close to her about their breakup,” the insider said.
