Ampang Jaya Police Headquarters said Sajat is among the witnesses that must be present for the case to commence in Ampang Jaya Courthouse this coming 14th of July.

If she is found guilty, Nur Sajat can be punished with up to 10 years in prison and can be caned as well as fined.

A witness or anyone who has information about them (Sajat) can call the inspector, Inspector Syafrina Nadzleen Ibrahim at 019-2692954 immediately, said police authorities.

Sajat has been the face of controversy for years now, but not for identification fraud. History shows that she has been wanted by police authorities for gender verification purposes, according to the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).

This has also caused a public uproar as many Malaysians believe that gender should be one’s personal choice, rather than dictated by authorities.

At the time of writing, it appeared that the entrepreneur’s Instagram account had been taken down.

Aside from cosmetics, Nur Sajat is a musical artist, with releases back in 2017 and 2018 titled “Abang Nak Tegur“, “Makhluk Penggoda” and “Bobo Di Mana“.

Previous reports have stated that the entrepreneur may have fled overseas amid being ‘hunted’ by police.
