As he launched The @EarthshotPrize a fortnight ago, Prince William spoke of the influence of his father The Prince of Wales, and his grandfather, The Duke of Edinburgh: • “I think with the family you get that generational hand on, and I think I’ve really picked up on the fact that my grandfather started caring a long time ago about the natural world, and my father’s spoken a lot and cares about the environment.” • This year The Prince of Wales launched RE:TV – a new series of short online films about potential solutions to the climate crisis. • The films focus on practical, sustainable solutions, and aim to inform and inspire — swipe to see a preview, and visit @retv_smi to see more ?

According to The Sun newspaper who first broke the news; Prince William kept the news of his diagnosis a secret as he didn’t want to alarm the British public. Prince William, who is second in line to the throne, did not tell anyone about his positive test result because “there were important things going on and I didn’t want to worry anyone”, according to the Sun.

Prince William was reportedly treated by palace doctors and according to the government guidelines whilst self isolating at the family home at Anmer Hall, in Norfolk, England.

Looks like Prince William didn’t let his diagnosis stop him from attending 14 engagements via telephone and video call during the month of April.

Prince Charles contracted coronavirus in March and he wen to Scotland in order to self isolate for seven days after he showed mild symptoms. His wife the Duchess of Cornwall, tested negative and self isolated for 14 days, The 71 year old Prince of Wales, was later quoted as saying that he ‘got away quite lightly’.
