Recently, the 38 year old old Indian actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas revealed on Instagram that she is releasing a memoir book entitled Unfinished. She teased with several posts before posting one with the book cover and the caption: Ironically, I named this memoir years before I started writing it. Having been a public person now for 20 years, with so much life to live and a long list of things to check off my list personally and professionally, I am very much #Unfinished. BUT the funny thing about writing a memoir is that it forces you to look at things differently, reconciling so many things you thought you had put to bed. In doing so I’ve realized that being “unfinished” has deeper meaning for me, and has in fact been one of the most common threads of my life…

Priyanka Chopra Jonas has promised fans that her memoir won’t leave out any aspects of her life. From starting out as a pageant queen, then a Bollywood star and now her foray into Hollywood. She will also speak about loosing her beloved father to cancer along with aspects of her marriage to her famous American singer-songwriter husband Nick Jonas.

In an interview with Marie Claire, she revealed “Writing this book has been one of the most cathartic experiences of my life. I dove deep. I tried to understand how stories in my life shaped me, and explored the indelible moments that made me who I am.” She also revealed that most of the book was penned during the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.
