So, let’s rewind all the way back to eight years ago.
In 2013, Seth Rogen made his directorial debut with an apocalyptic comedy movie titled “This is the End.” The movie boasts a looooong list of star-studded cameos where celebrities portray a fictional and exaggerated character of themselves, and the list includes Emma Watson, Danny McBride and Channing Tatum.

During production, an accident occurred causing Watson to pull out from a scene. A recent interview with Rogen about this incident has unleashed rumours that Watson “stormed off the set” causing many to doubt her professionality as one of Hollywood’s well-known actress. Goody two-shoes Hermione Granger? No way!

However, Rogen was quick to take the wheel in order to set things straight regarding the former child star in the form of a social media post. “I want to correct a story that has emerged from a recent interview I gave,” Rogen wrote.
“It misrepresents what actually happened. Emma Watson did not ‘storm off the set’ and it’s (terrible) that the perception is that she did. The scene was not what was originally scripted, it was getting improvised, changed drastically and was not what she agreed to. The narrative that she was in some way uncool or unprofessional is complete bulls***.”
He clarified further by saying:
“I for sure should have communicated better and because I didn’t, she was put in an uncomfortable position. She and I spoke on the night; it was overall a (terrible) situation and it must have been hard for her to say something and I’m very happy and impressed that she did. I was thrilled for the opportunity to work with her and would be thrilled to get that opportunity again. I am very sorry and disappointed it happened, and I wish I had done more to prevent it.”
The scene in question was of McBride and Tatum playing a cannibal on a leash. As a result, the final script was a lot different than what Watson had agreed to and caused her to feel uncomfortable shooting the scene. Yikes!
Rogen assures that there are no hard feelings between him and Watson, and both agree for her to be removed from the scene.
