Being famous could easily inflate one’s ego. You’ve probably seen it before with celebrities. But… this does not seem to be the case with Adam Sandler.

The actor and comedian has always seemed to be humble and a TikTok of him that has gone viral suggests that these assumptions are 100% spot on.
The TikTok we’re talking about is security footage from the famous American pancake shop IHOP, where the actor is seen attempting to get breakfast. The caption indicates that the lady who is taking his order did not recognize him since she asked Sandler to wait 30 minutes before even given a seat.

“Pleaseee come back,” she captions the video. “Not realizing its Adam Sandler and telling him its a 30min wait and him ofc leaving bc hes not going to wait 30mins for IHOP.”
I mean, it’s completely understandable that she didn’t recognize him, seeing that he was incredibly chill about it. Also adding the fact that the mask makes it even more difficult to identify someone. You’re basically in full ‘incognito’ mode. The comments replying to the TikTok also highlighted how calm and cool the 54-year-old Brooklyn born actor was.
“Doubt he was mad he didn’t get preferential treatment, he’s always so chill,” one user said.
“I used to serve him regularly,” another said. “Never served a nicer person.”
Adam Sandler has always been a good figure. A few months back, the comedian went viral for paying homage to his ‘Happy Gilmore’ character on its 25th anniversary.

His brilliant performance in the 2019 crime-thriller ‘Uncut Gems’ portrays him as a less than a good guy, which really proves the point that despite being good to the bone, this man is an incredible actor.
We really need more Adam Sandlers in this world – the calm, cool and collective character that sees himself as an ordinary person despite the career success that he’s had. He’s certainly someone that has the characteristics worth admiring!
