Mariah Carey is ready to get back to singing, even while receiving her COVID-19 vaccine!
The 52 year old, five-time Grammy winner, hit one of her iconic high notes as she celebrated getting her first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. She posted the hilarious video of the moment to her personal Instagram, writing in the caption, “Vaccine side effect: G6.” She’s funny this one ?.

The famous singer also expressed why she chose to film herself getting the vaccine, noting that she is “encouraging” her fans to also get their vaccines because “we’re all in this together.” “Hoping for the best,” she added. Preach woman!
We just have to point out that Mariah being the icon that she is dressed up for her big event, choosing an all-black ensemble with knee-high black leather stiletto boots.
She isn’t the only one who decided to sing through their COVID vaccination appointment. Dolly Parton shared a vaccine-inspired version of Jolene right before she received the first dose of vaccine, I guess it’s safe to say music does help you through the pain.
