We all love to pull pranks on our friends every once in a while!
Born Thomas Wesley Pentz, music producer Diplo once sent a text to hit-maker Justin Bieber, saying,
“Yo biebs, it’s Wes! Was dope linking with you last night.”
However, as the TikTok video reveals, the response Diplo was met with was…
“Hey this isn’t ‘biebs’. I think someone gave you the wrong number. Sorry.”
Fast-forward to four years later, Bieber himself sent a text to Diplo…from the same number which he initially claimed to be a “wrong number.” He said:
“Hey it’s Justin, did you get those vocals I sent over the other day?”
Making a hilarious TikTok video documenting their brief text exchange from 2017, Diplo uploaded it with a cheeky caption: “at least I wasn’t ghosted.”
@diplo at least I wasn’t ghosted
TikTok users are left in stitches, with one commenting:
“Nahhh you gotta hit him with ‘Justin who?’”
Another user pointed out:
“Okay but you have him saved as ‘singer from after party’ ??? PERFECT”
Borrowing a line from Bieber’s song “Sorry”, a user commented…
“Is it too late now to say sorry”
But there was also a time when Diplo was the one pulling pranks. He once hacked into the Jonas Brothers’ official Instagram account where he proceeded to allegedly post four photos, changed the profile picture and unfollowed everyone except himself.
Diplo hacked the Jonas Brothers’ Instagram page. He posted these 4 photos, changed the profile picture to himself, unfollowed everyone and is only following his own account. Seems like it started off as a joke to promote a possible collab, but he started to take it too far. pic.twitter.com/67HLw0UQOI

The brothers left comments on his posts as well, citing concerns regarding the account.

The Jonas Brothers’ official Twitter page even posted a cheeky tweet:
Lol no we don’t love Diplo that much. Looking into it. https://t.co/hkUU8UpEQG

Looking forward to more fun-loving, good-natured pranks in the future!
