ICYMI, the Hollywood industry have been bugging with buzz about Framing Britney Spears—a New York Times documentary follows the delves into the pop star’s 28-year career and her father Jamie Spears’ status as her conservator. Literally every breathing human being is talking about it. But what’s more surprising is that her ex Justin Timberlake and tv host Diane Sawyer have now been dragged into the controversy.

Ever since the doc has aired, JT has been hounded by fans to ‘apologise’ to Britney after the show portrayed how his music videos and interviews made her out to be an adulterous villain, boosting his profile and bank balance after their breakup in 2002. But to be honest, neither star ever commented on why they actually broke up (and still haven’t til this day) but it was reported that Britney cheated on Justin with her choreographer, Wade Robson. But how much of a truth was that?

Speaking about the breakup with The Telegraph right after the infamous breakup, Justin said: “It was heartbreaking for me. I can’t just have meaningless relationships with women. I have to find ‘’miss right’’ in order to have a relationship. There’s got to be that big moment when she comes along.” He didn’t stop there, Justin then released his iconic Cry Me A River music video, which features him getting revenge on a woman who has been unfaithful to him, and, lo and behold, she looks exactly like Britney.
In a much criticised interview with ABC’s Diane Sawyer, (who is also being asked to apologise to Britney), the singer was asked if she cheated on Justin. “You broke his heart, you did something that caused him so much pain, so much suffering. What did you do?” Sawyer asked, (Excuse Madam?????) Much of what Britney responded: “I think everyone has a side of their story to make them feel a certain way…and I’m not technically saying he’s wrong but I’m not technically saying he’s right either.”
Britney later told The Sun that they’re both going ‘in different directions’, “I’m still hurting but I am trying to see it as an experience. The worst thing is everyone wants to talk to me about it. Everywhere I go people are asking how I am. It’s a strange feeling getting used to being single again but I suppose I’ll have to cope. I’m just starting to get the knack of it because ever since I was 15 I’ve been in a serious relationship.”
Whatever happened between the pair, people are claiming Justin profited on the back of the breakup and want him to issue an apology. He better be! OH and that ABC Lady too, for those sexist remarks. Kthxbye.
